ACO 6.0 - Proprietary Information

The FCC or Federal Communications Commission is an independent agency of the United States Government. They control and maintain international communication by radio, wire, satellite, TV, and cable in all 50 states. Copy right infringement is when you or someone uses another person's work, music, art, etc. All of that without permission. The legal consequences of using one's material without permission is by asking the owner, artist, etc. For approval to use their music. Another way is editing the music and changing it, for example, song covers, parody, remixes etc. Fair use is when you use one's material but editing it or remixing it and changing it from the original. Doing that will not get you a strike or copyright infringement.

Confidentiality means something is private or a secret. 3 things you should keep private is your identity, your family's identity, and home address. Social media impacts confidential information a lot because on social media most people would put their real name and show pictures of how they look, how their family looks. Predators can also track you and find out your identity and do all that horrible things to you when they find where you are or also to your family and friends. In my opinion, I agree on having certain things censored and having some not, because everyone has the right to speak but most people abuse it and use it the wrong way. For example saying fire out loud in a public area or saying a very inappropriate word out loud.

ACO 6.2: Examine ethical issues in arts and communications to make appropriate decisions related to clients, co-workers and society.
